PROJECT MONITORING AND CONTROL

Monitoring is the collecting, recording, and reporting of information concerning project performance that the project manager and others wish to know and then, to Control, we use data from monitored activity to bring actual results to planned performance. Project objectives are met when monitored and controlled.

In this workshop we will cover the how-to of collecting measures of project performance, analyzing them to forecast the need for corrective action, disseminating performance information, and managing the change across one or multiple projects.

It will also explore Earned Value Management and other established techniques designed to bring the project back in line with project objectives and constraints, all with the objective of improving current and future execution and avoiding known performance problems.
